  20. Reg Martin is correct.  But since people do not, in general, comprehend
  21. the difference between paging and thrashing, nor do they understand even
  22. a token amount of VM system theory, this will keep coming up.

  24. There was a decent discussion of this just a few days ago, with a number
  25. of knowledgeable people commenting, but I think it is one of those
  26. things we're doomed to repeat every few days, like the "060/50 is twice
  27. as fast as a P6 at 200 MHz!" thing.
